Amanda Taylor, M.S., Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

“Vulnerability is not knowing victory or defeat; it’s understanding the necessity of both; it’s engaging. It’s being all in.”- Brené Brown

Counseling Approach

I believe that the great thing about therapy is that people have room to grow, adults and children alike. I facilitate a therapeutic environment and a safe space for my clients to discuss both their struggles and their victories as they establish healthy boundaries while coping with life’s challenges. My counseling approach is guided by person-centered counseling. I focus on building rapport and establishing a therapeutic relationship with my clients while being original and authentic in my counseling process. Overall, utilizing empathy and unconditional positive regard to provide hope and support when it is needed most.
