About the event

Big feelings can be overwhelming for children and parents. Our time together will focus on how to support children through emotional outbursts, meltdowns, shutdowns, and moments of dysregulation without escalating the situation or disconnecting from the relationship.

You will learn how to recognize emotions, how to respond in ways that support regulation, and how to stay grounded when emotions run high. We will explore scenarios and offer language and tools that help children feel understood and help parents feel confident. You will also be provided with resources to utilize after our discussion.
