About the event
Join me for a three part virtual workshop series. These workshops are intended for aspiring (clinical or tenure-track) counselor educators. The sessions will highlight helpful tips for navigating the job search. Each workshop has a fee of $20 and will be facilitated for 2 hours via zoom.
June 21, 2024 (10a-12p CDT)
The Role of a Counselor Educator: Particiapnts will gain an in-depth understanding into the day to day lives of counselor educators.
Preparing Your Application Materials: Participants will be prepared to create the necessary applicaiton materials to enter the counselor educator job search.
July 19, 2024 (10a-12p CDT)
The Interview Process: Participants will learn tips for navigating the interview porcess. They will also witness an initial interview and final interview for a counselor educator position.
August 16, 2024 (10a-12p CDT)
Negotiating Your Contract: Participants will be provided insight into the contract negotiation process and how to make counter offers.
Tips for Your First Year: Participants will learn how to have a successful first year and have the opportunity to create an action plan.
